Ms. DeSisto has extensive litigation experience handling hundreds of employment cases from inception through resolution. She regularly manages all stages of litigation, including written discovery, law and motion practice, depositions, settlement negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution. She has participated in numerous mediations on behalf of employees in complex workplace harassment and discrimination disputes and has helped secure significant recoveries for her clients, including a $2.19 million sexual harassment settlement and a $1.25 million sexual harassment settlement.<\/p>\n
In addition to her mediation experience, Ms. DeSisto has taken and defended depositions in a wide range of employment matters and has successfully arbitrated a case through final resolution, further strengthening her advocacy in contested proceedings. Her litigation practice is focused on aggressively representing employees who have experienced unlawful workplace harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination.<\/p>\n
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. DeSisto worked at the Los Angeles District Attorney\u2019s Legislative Advocates Office, where she conducted legislative and legal research on pending public safety bills.
