  • Cynthia Cuellar Wins Landmark Sexual Harassment Case Against CEO Aboli Ndri and The Providence College
LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, April 1, 2025 / Shegerian Conniff LLP announced a significant verdict for Cynthia Cuellar, a dedicated single mother of three, who has prevailed in her sexual harassment lawsuit against CEO Aboli Ndri and The Providence College.

Cuellar was hired by Ndri as an Administration Manager and was said to be a hardworking professional who excelled in her role—until she became the target of repeated and escalating sexual harassment.

Beginning in November 2022, Cuellar became the target of persistent sexual harassment by Ndri. She was repeatedly subjected to inappropriate comments, unwelcome advances and touching, forced lunches, and sexual coercion involving cash payments and gifts.

The harassment culminated in a terrifying incident where Ndri drove Cuellar to a hotel and pressured her to go into his room. Fearing for her safety and unable to continue her work under such hostile conditions, Cuellar reported the harassment to Ndri’s long-time consultant. However, with no Human Resources department at The Providence College and no action taken to address her complaints, Cuellar was left with no choice but to resign in March 2023.

Determined to seek justice, Cuellar enlisted the legal expertise of Shegerian Conniff attorneys Cortney Shegerian, Heather Conniff and Levon Derkalousdian, who fought tirelessly on her behalf. Their unshakable commitment to holding Ndri and The Providence College accountable resulted in a decisive legal victory—Cuellar won.

“This victory is more than just a legal win; it is a testament that workplace harassment will not be tolerated,” said Conniff. “We stand with survivors like Cuellar and remain committed to fighting for employees whose rights have been violated by their employers.”

This verdict serves as a beacon of hope for those experiencing workplace harassment and reinforces the importance of speaking out against injustice.

This case was filed in Los Angeles County under case number 23STCV17499.
